august 5th, 9:18pm
today was a pretty chill day. went to bed around 3am and woke up at 10:30am. my mom had an appointment a half hour away at 2pm so i just relaxed in my bed until 12:45pm.
it started to rain pretty heavy while we were driving there and on the way home. my cat, chester, (who is an indoor/outdoor cat) decided he wanted to go out before we realized it was going to rain. when we arrived home, he was laying on the front step and screaming at us. he hates the rain.
i then have been in my bed since 4pm. ive been trying to do as little as possible today because tomorrow i have an 8 hour shift and also will be meeting/training a new assistant manager. i don't do well on 8 hour shifts because i lose my motivation around hour 6. the last 2 hours are me just meandering until the time hits 9:30pm. august is a pretty busy month at my store because of back-to-school shopping. since its a thursday, it shouldn't be too busy, but ya never know.
im not sure what i want to do the rest of the night. i plan to go to sleep before 1am but i guess we will see. tomodachi life will definitely be on the roster.
