today was a pretty lazy day. my mom and i went to my work to pick up my stepdad some socks with my discount and a pair of boots for me. he left at about 12:30 to head back to the job site he’s been at for the past 2 months. 

my mom and i took a nap for a while when my dog woke me up whining in my ear for attention. we went to one of our favorite diners for dinner and ate at home. during this time, my dog was hunting around the house for, i assume, a mouse. this will be the 4th mouse we’ve had this year. unfortunately, she killed 3 of them. my one cat killed the other. i gave them all a proper funeral where they go back to the earth. i wish i was able to set them free but alas, my dog is a maniac.

once again, it is late at night and i am still awake. i have work tomorrow at 3:30pm so it won’t be too much of a problem being up this late.
