august 5th

august 5th, 9:18pm

today was a pretty chill day. went to bed around 3am and woke up at 10:30am. my mom had an appointment a half hour away at 2pm so i just relaxed in my bed until 12:45pm. 

it started to rain pretty heavy while we were driving there and on the way home. my cat, chester, (who is an indoor/outdoor cat) decided he wanted to go out before we realized it was going to rain. when we arrived home, he was laying on the front step and screaming at us. he hates the rain. 

i then have been in my bed since 4pm. ive been trying to do as little as possible today because tomorrow i have an 8 hour shift and also will be meeting/training a new assistant manager. i don't do well on 8 hour shifts because i lose my motivation around hour 6. the last 2 hours are me just meandering until the time hits 9:30pm. august is a pretty busy month at my store because of back-to-school shopping. since its a thursday, it shouldn't be too busy, but ya never know.

im not sure what i want to do the rest of the night. i plan to go to sleep before 1am but i guess we will see. tomodachi life will definitely be on the roster.

x-men fan/official cast round up! (UPDATED)

so here's the deal, i am a HUGE x-men fan. i love the x-men, i have read a bunch of my dad's old comics on the x-men, i've seen the movies a billion times. when i found out that marvel/disney will be taking over the x-men cast, i was ecstatic. the fox version was amazing and always will be, however i do believe some characters were completely nerfed alongside their suits. my favorite character is wolverine, so i have no issue with the movies centering around him but i do feel other characters need limelight. 

all that being said, here i will be sharing the official casting announcements and who i would cast as the characters! (with references)

my thoughts: visually, she fits the part perfectly! i haven't seen anything she's been in but a lot of people are very excited about this casting so i'm excited as well.

powers: power absorption (can kill anyone she touches), superhuman abilities, flight (stolen from captain marvel)

my thoughts: im far too scared to see 'obsession' however from the clips ive seen on tiktok, im so excited for this. inde is a fantastic actress, i know she'll do rogue some justice

my thoughts: i love sadie sink. she is a fantastic actress and im so excited she's joining the mcu. i have yet to see the new spiderman movie but i can't wait to see her on the big screen.

my thoughts: i believe maya has only been on stage when acting, however i think she will do great as storm. super excited about this one!

my thoughts: arsema was in queen charlotte: a bridgerton sequel as lady agatha danbury. lady danbury is my favorite character of bridgerton and arsema played her amazingly. she would be perfect as storm.

my thoughts: if you see my vision, cooper would be perfect as bobby. i think he would excel here more than as cyclops

my thoughts: im almost entirely certain he doesn't act anymore, but he would be great as gambit. hes the right age, has the look, and was born in louisiana! i don't believe gambit will be in the upcoming x-men movie, however i wanted to cast him anyway!

my thoughts: i think hunter would be perfect as mystique. she plays complicated characters so well. she also probably won't be in the 2028 movie.

my thoughts: i've been trying to keep actors and characters ethnicities the same and i think isabella would be perfect as jubilee. both chinese, and isabella was amazing as posy in the 4th season of bridgerton. also probably won't be in the 2028 movie.

powers: superhuman abilities, very very smart, blue

my thoughts: i have no idea who i would want to play beast. he's a difficult character to cast with his looks and his personality. we shall wait and see.

august 4th

august 4th, 11:17pm

went to bed at 4am last night. again. I haven't gone to bed before 1am in weeks. i was up playing a game on my ipad and just having fun but always aware of the time. staying up late always makes me feel guilty.

a hot-water-heater man came today around 8am. my mom stuffed our dogs in my room as i tried to fall back to sleep. eventually, i gave up and just scrolled on my phone as they were crying at the door. 

a package of old navy clothes came today and my mom wanted to return a few things so we went to do that, hit the bank, and came back home. i finally put new clothes and clean laundry away as well as started the washer with dirty clothes. its been... a while since i last did laundry.

after wards i played the same game as last night and took a nap around 5pm. woke up at around 7pm and just laid in my bed for an hour thinking. we went to get taco bell at around 8:30pm and ate in a planet fitness parking lot. i find it amusing how many people will workout this late at night.

came home, made my bed, and now just watching a live stream. i've got some ideas for what i want to post on here so stay tuned.

today was a pretty lazy day. my mom and i went to my work to pick up my stepdad some socks with my discount and a pair of boots for me. he left at about 12:30 to head back to the job site he’s been at for the past 2 months. 

my mom and i took a nap for a while when my dog woke me up whining in my ear for attention. we went to one of our favorite diners for dinner and ate at home. during this time, my dog was hunting around the house for, i assume, a mouse. this will be the 4th mouse we’ve had this year. unfortunately, she killed 3 of them. my one cat killed the other. i gave them all a proper funeral where they go back to the earth. i wish i was able to set them free but alas, my dog is a maniac.

once again, it is late at night and i am still awake. i have work tomorrow at 3:30pm so it won’t be too much of a problem being up this late.

this is a check in for yesterday. it was my best friends birthday (22)! i went over to her house and met a few of her friends and they were very nice. we played a card game and had lots of laughs. 

my sleep schedule has been horrible and i’ve been spending far too much money. i’ve bought so many clothes in the past few weeks i don’t even know where im going to put them. 

school starts in a few weeks, signed up for 4 classes this semester which is more than i usually do. there is a very large gap between 2 of my classes and i commute to campus so im gonna need to find something to do in the mean time.
